Overview

The Health Information Management program equips students with skills to manage health data, maintain medical records, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations. Graduates work as health information technicians in hospitals, clinics, and health agencies.

Entry Requirements

To join the Health Information Management (National Diploma - ND HIM) program, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Candidates must possess five (5) credit passes at SSCE (WAEC, NECO or GCE O/L), at not more than two sittings, which must include: English Language, Mathematics, Biology or Health Science, Chemistry or Physics and one subject from Economics, Geography, Agriculture Science, Christian Religious Knowledge or Nigerian Language.
• Candidates must attempt JAMB/UTME and score at least 100 marks.
• Candidates must pass the College's screening and interview.
• After two years of study, students embark on a compulsory one-year Students Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES) in four different health facilities under the supervision of the College.
