Overview

The Environmental Health Technology program at NKST College of Health Technology, Mkar, trains students to address critical environmental factors affecting public health, such as sanitation, water quality, and pollution control. Graduates are equipped to work as environmental health officers in diverse settings, including government agencies, NGOs, and private organizations.

Entry Requirements

To join the Environmental Health Technology (National Diploma - ND) program, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Candidates must possess five (5) credit passes at SSCE (WAEC, NECO, NABTEB or GCE O/L), at not more than two sittings, which must include: English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
  • Candidates must attempt JAMB/UTME and score at least 100 marks.
  • Candidates must also pass the College's screening and interview.
  • There is no stated age limit for the ND program, however, applicants must be mentally and physically fit.
