The Pharmacy Technician program at NKST College of Health Technology, Mkar, offers students a comprehensive foundation in pharmaceutical sciences, medication dispensing, and pharmacy practice over six semesters.

Graduates are equipped to work in hospital pharmacies, retail drug stores, and healthcare institutions, supporting pharmacists in dispensing medications, maintaining inventory, and ensuring patient safety.

Entry Requirements

To join the Pharmacy Technician program, candidates must meet the following criteria.

O'Level Requirement

Five (5) credit passes at SSCE, WAEC, NECO or GCE Ordinary Level at not more than two sittings.

Core Subjects

Credits must include English Language, Mathematics, Biology or Health Science, Chemistry, and Physics.

JAMB / UTME

Candidates must attempt JAMB/UTME and score at least 100 marks.

Screening

Candidates must pass the College entrance examination and interview.
