About the Program

The Environmental Health Technology program equips students with the knowledge and practical skills needed to protect communities from environmental health hazards. The program focuses on sanitation, disease prevention, waste management, water safety, environmental inspection, and public health regulation.

Graduates are prepared to work in government ministries, health agencies, environmental protection bodies, local councils, NGOs, hospitals, and private organisations where environmental safety and community health are essential.

Admission Guide

Entry Requirements

To join the Environmental Health Technology program, candidates must meet the following criteria.

O'Level Requirement

Five (5) credit passes in SSCE, WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, or GCE O/L at not more than two sittings.

Core Subjects

Credits must include English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.

JAMB / UTME

Candidates must attempt JAMB/UTME and score at least 100 marks.

Screening & Fitness

Applicants must pass the College screening/interview and be mentally and physically fit.

Detailed Requirements

Candidates must possess five (5) credit passes at SSCE (WAEC, NECO, NABTEB or GCE O/L), at not more than two sittings.
These credits must include English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
Candidates must attempt JAMB/UTME and score at least 100 marks.
Candidates must also pass the College's screening and interview.
There is no stated age limit for the ND program; however, applicants must be mentally and physically fit.
