Overview

The Dental Surgery Technician program trains students to assist dentists in clinical procedures, manage dental equipment, and provide patient care. Graduates work in dental clinics and hospitals as skilled dental assistants.

Entry Requirements

To join the Dental Surgery Technician (National Diploma - ND) program, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Minimum of 5 credit passes in SSCE (WAEC, NECO, NABTEB or GCE O/L) at not more than two sittings, including: English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and one other subject.
  • Candidates must attempt JAMB/UTME and score at least 140 marks.
  • Candidates must pass the College's screening and interview.
  • Age requirement: 16–30 years at the time of admission. Applicants must be mentally and physically fit.
