Since our inception, we have been committed to providing a robust education founded on strong moral, ethical, and religious principles. Our mission is to produce highly skilled and compassionate healthcare professionals who can meet the primary, secondary, and tertiary healthcare needs of our communities, in line with the national health policy. We believe in nurturing a new generation of healthcare workers who are not only knowledgeable but also dedicated to service.

The NKST College of Health Technology, Mkar, is a proud institution under the ownership of the NKST Church (Universal Reformed Christian Church). Our journey began on January 13, 1977, as the Christian Medical Auxiliary Training School, established by the Sudan United Mission (SUM). The founding purpose was clear: to alleviate the suffering of church members and all Benue indigenes by providing them with access to quality middle-level qualifications in healthcare, particularly for Community Health Assistants and Aides. Over the years, our school has evolved and undergone several name changes, finally settling on our current name, a reflection of our enduring commitment to healthcare education as mandated by Nigeria's national health policy.
